Summary: Each County in California is required to have a Committee on School District Organization. The primary responsibility of the County Committee on School District Organization is the reorganization of school districts, through territory transfers and unification.
Each School District in the County appoints a representative who is responsible for casting the District’s vote to appointment members to the County Committee.
